At Hi Sun Childcare Center, our Infant–Toddler Program is thoughtfully designed to nurture the natural curiosity, creativity, and development of our youngest learners — from their first weeks to 36 months. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view every child as capable, competent, and full of potential right from the start.
A Caring, Respectful Environment
We create a warm, home‑like setting where strong, trusting relationships form between children, caregivers, and families. Educators respond to each child’s rhythms and interests with empathy and intentional care.
Learning Through Relationships and Exploration
Infants and toddlers learn through rich interactions with caregivers, peers, and their surroundings. Classrooms invite discovery with natural materials and open‑ended activities that foster exploration at each child’s pace.
The Environment as the Third Teacher
Calm, beautiful spaces encourage independence and wonder. Low shelves, mirrors, cozy areas, and soft lighting allow safe, free exploration. Nature—light, textures, and outdoor time—is woven into daily learning.
Listening to the Hundred Languages of Children
Before they speak, children express themselves through movement, gestures, sound, and play. We honor and document these “hundred languages” through photographs and stories that reveal their thinking.
